When setting up an Enterprise Plan, the default setting for Flippr is to block all file storage and communication features. This setting is sometimes referred to as Lite Mode.
Under these default settings, members of your organization will not be able to use Flippr to store or share any documents. They will be able to create FlipLines, use AutoCheck, and download PDFs. Downloading is enabled by default because this option is only available on the same device/browser/session from which the documents were uploaded in the first place.
Flippr offers file storage/sharing and communication features under Flippr Workspace. To turn this on, an Enterprise Owner must reach out to support@flippr.ai. This cannot be enabled in the application by any organization role.
If you are an Organization Admin or Owner, follow the below steps to check these settings.
Under default Enterprise Plan settings, documents in Flippr undergo limited processing via managed services in AWS and Azure, but no data persists. Documents are never stored beyond the contemporaneous processing activity by Flippr or any third party. Because documents never enter persistent storage, no foreign governments can mandate third-party access to this data, helping users comply with data sovereignty requirements.
