How to use AutoCheck

This page explains how to use Flippr's AutoCheck tool to find mistakes in your document and suggest fixes. Note that you must be on a Pro Plan or an Enterprise Plan where AutoCheck is enabled in Account Settings to use AutoCheck. Only an Organization Owner or Admin can enable AutoCheck for an Enterprise Plan.

How to run AutoCheck

Step 1: On the home screen, click Run AutoCheck
Step 2: Follow the prompts to upload a PDF of a slide deck, and then click upload
Step 3: Click Run AutoCheck. You may need to click the magnifying glass icon on the right-hand side of the page first

AutoCheck will now look through your document and populate comments in the tool-pane, replacing the Legal disclaimer text in the above photo. You may need to wait a minute for all comments to appear.

Tip: Use Alt+L to expand all / collapse all comments

What next? Tips and tricks

Filters and settings

Click the Filters icon near the top of the AutoCheck comments list to see some important options and settings.

The three-dots icon next to each comment will also allow you to:

  • Copy the text of the comment so you can paste it in an email or a chat thread (it will include the page number reference as well)
  • Edit the comment
  • Resolve the comment; this moves it to the Resolved column and declutters the document
  • Delete the comment
Bulk actions

You can select multiple comments and then perform these actions in bulk by clicking the Filters icon, as illustrated above.

Download to PDF

Click the File menu and then click Download to get a PDF of the document with all AutoCheck and user comments.
